Q: What is a hostel? A: The main feature of hostels is the dorm style rooms that are available. Instead of renting a whole room, you would just rent an individual bed. Our dorms each have their own bathroom so you just share with your room mates. It is a cheap way to travel and meet lots of other travelers.
Q: How do I get to "The Mall?" A: It's just a block and a half walk and then a 25 minute bus ride on express bus 100 or a 35 minute ride on bus 1.
Q: Where can I get a haircut?
A: There are many options available for haircuts and other goods and services in City Centre Mall located just 2 blocks from the hostel.

Q: Are towels provided? A: Yes, towels and all bedding are provided.
Q: Do you have a kitchen? A: Yes, We have a full kitchen with two full stove tops, two microwaves, an oven, two sinks and three restaurant style booths for seating..
Q: Do you have internet? A: There is free wifi if you have your own computer. If not we have internet that cost $4 for the first hour, $3 for any additional hours. You don't have to use the hour all at once, you can spread it out.

Q: What can I do in Edmonton for free? A: Edmonton has many free festivals throughout the summer. Some highlights are the fringe festival, street performers' festival, and The Works Art and Design Festival. There are also beautiful parks to check out, some which will hold special events (often free)
Q: Where are the good bars? A: There are many good bars and clubs downtown. We are a block off Jasper Ave, the main bar street in Downtown. We are within 2 blocks of the Starlite Room and New City which are Edmonton's premiere indy band venues. There is also Whyte Ave which is a short cab ride away. And of course we have the Jekyll and Hyde Pub located in our building providing a good way to start the evening before heading out.
